The Legacy Horse Racing System

Profitable backing systems seem very hard to come bye so I was very keen to review the legacy horse racing system as it promised so much. The system claims to have made reliable profits for over 30 years!

I tested the system for 4 months between December the 1st 2007 and March the 31st 2008. These can be some of the hardest months from a betting point of view with the unpredictable weather playing havoc with the form books.

I found the system itself incredibly easy to use. You are basically backing any favorites at odds of evens or better in certain race types at certain race courses. The simple instructions included make the selection process so easy that even a novice can do it in a few minutes each day.

During December there were 14 winning bets from 28 using the Legacy system and I was very impressed. January saw 8 winning bets from 21 selections, February also saw 8 winning bets from 21 selections and March saw 8 winning bets from 22 selections.

The strike rate over the 3 months was 41%

Placing a £50 win single on all selections returned a profit of £446.25 at starting prices which was a return on investment of 9.7%. Not a huge profit I agree but The longest winning run was 5 and the longest losing run was also only 5 which makes this an excellent system to use with any decent staking plan especially as it made a profit using level stakes during the 4 months I tested it.

The system works all year round but I have been assured that profits are highest during the flat season which is very promising based on what I have seen to date.

A reliable source has informed that during the whole of 2007 the legacy system showed a total profit of 71 points or £3550 using £50 level stakes.

When you purchase the legacy system you also get another system called the 'saver' system. I have not been testing the results of this as I simply didn't have the time to do so. I have been given the full results for this system by another member for the whole of 2007 though and they are very promising as you can see below.

Jan £719 | Feb £333 | Mar £354 | Apr £418 | May £1,411 | Jun -£1,100 | Jul £521
Aug -£567 | Sep £1,458 | Oct £339 | Nov £771 | Dec -£433

Total £4,224

The yearly profit shows £4,224 at SP which would be around £5,700 using Betfair to £100 stakes

Score: 3/5 - Worth buying and you can expect to win a steady amount of money when used correctly.
