This is another classic case where the sales page is far superior than the product it is selling. All the usual marketing tactics are used although there is no real proof of winnings.

The sporting specialist is basically a collection of old and untested betting systems along with suicidal money management advice and other useless links.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

I was asked by the author of the gambling pack if I would be happy to do a review of which I duly obliged. If I was reviewing the sales page alone then it would achieve full marks as it looks very professional and contains everything needed to part you with your hard earned cash.

If I hadn’t been doing this for so long I would have been very excited about what I was seeing and would almost certainly have purchased the product based on the sales page alone and marketing tactics alone.

Well, they say you can’t read a book by its cover and in the case of the gambling pack this is most definitely true in my opinion.

Firstly you are asked to purchase a collection of systems and guides covering many aspects of betting. Once you download this you are then given the option to buy a “power add-on pack” which gains you access to further systems and guides. Why don’t you just get them all for your initial payment? In my opinion this is just another way of extracting further cash from punters.

So what did I think of the product itself. Well it doesn’t get any better I am afraid. The majority of the systems and guides have been around for many years either using the same name or with different names. Many use progressive staking plans which will always fail long term. There were some horse racing systems that boosted big profits using level stakes over a series of around 50-100 bets. I decided to test them using past data and to be honest wasn’t surprised one bit when the results told a very different story with big losses being shown.

I put my findings to the author about the systems being sold before and the difference in results. His reply was as follows:

“The systems were all tested over a period of a few months and during that period turned out to be winning systems. Don’t forget there are also guides in the pack as well as systems. My pack is aimed at being more of an all-round education of betting, not just a selection of systems (there is enough systems already on the net without adding more onto the market).”

Let’s break that answer down.

“The systems were all tested over a period of a few months and during that period turned out to be winning systems.”

If you invented a system and tested it over a large series of bets it would almost certainly have a period that produced a handsome profit even if overall the system showed a loss. In my opinion it is unfair and deceiving to sell a system basing the results over a small period of winning bets when it clearly fails to show a profit long-term.

“My pack is aimed at being more of an all-round education of betting, not just a selection of systems (there is enough systems already on the net without adding more onto the market).”

What does he mean by this? I didn’t want to add anymore so I thought I would sell other peoples systems instead!

Another thing that I didn’t like was the huge amount of affiliate links you had to trawl through before even getting to the systems or guides. These are expected in free systems and guides but in my opinion should not be so heavily included in a product that you have paid for.

If your new to betting then you will probably learn things from some of the guides but overall I was personally very disappointed with the gambling pack and would not recommend it to others.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

With trading on the exchanges becoming ever more popular I was very eager to test this system. I contacted the seller to request a copy to review and he sent me the system within minutes of asking which I was very pleased about.

As you would expect the system is based around trading tennis matches on the online betting exchanges.

The package contains three trading systems called Race Your Profits, Champ Winnings and Tennis Scalper. All 3 systems are based on sound principles unlike many other trading systems I have seen of late. They are very well written, simple to understand and video instructions are also included.

Race Your Profits is a long term trading system which involves backing the favourite in the match before trading out and locking in a profit.

Champ Winnings is similar to Race Your Profits but instead involves laying the favourite before trading out.

Tennis Scalper involves trading on the odds fluctuations which arise when a player scores a point and is based around set points and match points etc.

I would say of the three systems that Tennis Scalper is almost certainly the safest method to use overall.

Using the systems are not as easy as the sales page indicates and if you struggle to do more than one thing at a time then this system might not be for you. If you are able to multi task and understand the basics rules of trading then in theory I see no reason why you can’t make money using these methods.

Remember the words in theory….

Personally I am able to multi task very well, I understand trading, I have very fast broadband and a fast PC, I have SKY TV and I use a professional trading application to access Betfair.

Even so I just kept missing the trades when testing the methods out due to time delays.

I asked my list if anybody had any experiences they could share regarding the tennis trading league and almost every single email I received said that the prices changed before they could get the trade in successfully just as I had found out myself.

The delays in transmission can differ greatly depending on if you have satellite or cable TV or depending on your geographical location. These delays can mean the difference between making the system work or not in my case and are a very important factor to take into account before purchasing.

I truly believe the methods will work and if you are certain you will not encounter problems with the delays in transmission then I wouldn’t put you off purchasing the tennis trading league.

Rating 3/5 – Worth buying and you can expect to win a steady amount of money when used correctly.

I am happy to say that I can wrap this review up very quickly which hopefully will save a lot of you wasting your hard earned cash. This review also covers a system called ‘30 Seconds to Guaranteed Tennis Profits’.

I was pointed in the direction of the tennis bank roll sales page by a few people who were interested in the excellent results claimed.

This is actually a tennis tipster service which claims they have the ultimate formula for picking the winners of tennis matches. For a one off fee you get life time membership to there service. This one off fee actually gets you nothing because as soon as you pay this you have to then pay a monthly subscription fee to actually receive the selections. A rip off or what?

One of my members very kindly informed me that he joined the service and kindly supplied me with a list of the bets he had received thus far. The 31 selections provided 20 winners at average odds of 1.6 which will not exactly make the profits claimed if you do the maths. He also said that it is easy to miss some of the picks because of the time zones. Some of the matches start early morning so if you have not been able to access the picks early enough some of the matches have been completed already.

The sales page is also miss leading as it is still claiming a recent (how recent?) consecutive winning run of 31 picks. There is of course no evidence of any of the results claimed either.

I was also sent the list of selections in full. Alarm bells rang immediately as I have also been testing a system called ‘30 Seconds to Guaranteed Tennis Profits’ which I brought from www.tennisbettingsystem.com

The selections were almost identical and upon looking the webpage’s look very similar as well. I did some further research on the domain ownership etc and can confirm that both the ‘tennis bank roll’ and the ‘30 Seconds to Guaranteed Tennis Profits’ system are actually run by the same people.

There is no mention of this on either website and different names are also used on the sales page’s to hide this.

The tennis bank roll sales page states the following:

“He gave me only one condition for using the formula. Not to share the formula calculations with anyone but I could share the picks anyway I wished.”

What a load of bullsh*t, the tennis bank roll picks are just the ‘30 Seconds to Guaranteed Tennis Profits’ selections. Why don’t these people just say this? I wonder how many people who brought the ‘30 Seconds to Guaranteed Tennis Profits’ system have actually joined the tennis bank roll service not knowing the above. Well you do now!

The ‘30 Seconds to Guaranteed Tennis Profits’ system is not worth the paper it is written on which means one thing and one thing only…

Tennis bank roll is a load of rubbish also!

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

Pro Betting Systems is a unique Betfair profit guide that brings together 14 of the most well-known online betting industry’s authors and professional gamblers. In the Pro Betting Systems e-book, all 14 of these authors have each contributed at least one of their own personal betting systems.

Sounds good doesn’t it?

I got my hands on a copy of this a few months ago when the system was first being sold. It was then withdrawn from sale and re-released at a lower price. Why I am not sure but I do have my own ideas…

I am not going to beat around the bush with this review even though I risk falling out with 14 different authors. Everybody is entitled to there opinion and you will hear mine.

As marketing goes I give this publication five stars as I am sure many hundreds of copies will be sold. Would I recommended you purchase it? In a word NO.

Why you may ask?

The book contains a lot of old tried and tested methods and in my opinion is better suited to the novice punter to those more experienced. Trying to find one profitable system is hard enough yet we have 18 of them crammed into one publication. All of the systems will have winning runs at some point and you may be lucky enough to use the ones that do when you first purchase it. I don’t believe however that using all the systems as described will return a long term profit.

Some of the authors deserve there title of “The betting industry’s most respected authors” but that said many don’t.

I feel and am sure you would agree that the idea behind pro betting systems is to plug each authors own website/service and the links contained confirm my theory.

There are certain authors products that should not be touched with a barge pole and I feel that by recommending this product as a whole I would be promoting there own website/services which I am not willing to do.

I personally feel it’s a shame that some of the respected author’s got involved with this product as it may jeopardise there own reputations long term.

Rating: 2/5 – The system may have some merit but in my opinion it is not reliable enough to use in the long-run and is one to avoid.

The first thing that strikes me about this guide, is that it is like the tennis equivalent to False Favourites. So, what do we get in the 109 page PDF document which is downloaded upon purchase?.

Well, in my opinion this is a very well structured and written guide, giving a great overview into the world of tennis. It starts with a comprehensive look at the structure of both the ATP and the WTA tours, providing information on the tournaments played, the ranking system and more importantly the surfaces they are played on.

We then run through the tennis calendar for the year, picking out the important venues along the way.

Moving on, we come to the meat on the bones of this product, that being a bios of the major players for both men and women, together with a section on betting opportunities for each player, e.g. if this player is on grass, always back his opponent etc…

A nice element to this guide, is reference to form, confidence and mental problems, off court factors and player injuries. You will also learn the impact that these factors may have on a players chances of winning and examples are also included for your reference. A link to a website highlighting injuries is also provided. I must confess that I had never used this website before, but I will definitely be bookmarking it from now on.

Whilst no mechanical systems are provided, the author does touch on some of the betting and trading opportunities that arise in tennis, but more importantly, it also highlights the potential pitfalls.

This is not a system, but an education, and a good read at that. If you currently bet on tennis or have been thinking of doing so then this is a must read manual in my opinion.

Rating: 3/5 – Worth buying and you can expect to win a steady amount of money when used correctly.

I purchased this system around 12 months ago after being lured in by the excellent results shown on the sales page and I was happy to use it until I was hit by my first loss.

I have had loads of emails about this system and almost all agree with what I am going to write below. A few people said the system is brilliant but I am 100% certain that this will change when they inevitably get there fingers burnt like myself and many others did.

The system author John Morrison claims a 97% strike rate meaning you win 97 out of every 100 bets placed. These are not individual bets however and each bet is actually a series of 3 using a stop at a winner progressive staking plan. Because the bets are always odds on a losing series of bets can mean a loss up to 30 points. This means after a losing bet you need 30 winning bets to get your losses back. There is no mention of this on the sales page though and in my opinion it’s a blatant false accounting scam by John.

Take a look at the sales page and you will see that the system is showing a 100% strike rate for the current MLB season. This is untrue as there have been several losing bets this season. John used another false accounting scam in that he changed the rules of the system after the losses took place and the strike rate shown is using the new system rules. Very clever John!

I have even had emails from people who are happy to accept this as they are looking forward to using the new rules next season. Please don’t be fooled. Just because something has happened 50 times in the past doesn’t mean it will happen 50 times in the future.

John is constantly pushing people to buy new systems and place bets at bookmakers which he obviously has an affiliation with.

Ask him a simple question and he will answer you. Ask him a potentially awkward question and he won’t. Not exactly the loyal life time support he promises is it?

When you purchase the system John promises that he will send you the picks by email for “life” at no cost. He has now changed this so the picks are sent just 30 minutes before each game which is useless unless in my opinion.

If you want the selections sent sent the day before as they were previously you now have to pay John an extra fee for the privilege. This is yet another way to get more cash from punters and is very under-hand in my opinion.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

This is the most cleverly written sales page I have seen to date and for me it is very important to get this review out to warn others of my findings. The sales page promises 100% winning bets but clearly states it is not arbitrage betting or trading and is not a progressive staking plan.

This in my mind could only mean one thing and that was that it was another system which takes advantage of the free bet offers from online bookmakers. The one where you place a bet with the bookie and lay it off on the exchanges to lock in a profit.

I then read the sales page further and it stated that you would not be backing and laying the same selection which immediately threw my theory out of the window.

To be honest I was stumped to what it could be and actually felt a little excited as I am sure all who read the sales page will also.

I am a firm believer that if it sounds to good to be true then it usually is and upon receiving my copy of covert exchange profits I can reveal that it is exactly that.

The system basically takes advantage of the time delays that occur on live televised sporting events such as horse racing, football, tennis, golf and snooker etc. To run the system you are expected to be at the actual event and to place your bets using a mobile phone or laptop.

The system in theory has it’s merits but it is not full proof. Let me give you an example of why it is not fool proof….

The system suggests that if a favourite falls in a horse race you will be able to lay it before other Betfair users even know it has fallen to guarantee a win. I remember several years ago seeing a favourite fall only to be remounted and go on and win the race. The horse was backed in running at 1000/1 after falling!

Why don’t they state you need to attend live events to use this system?

The reason being that very few people would actually buy the system in the first place. This is one of those systems that promise the world yet you buy it only to find you can’t actually put it into operation.

Unless you have thousands of pounds to trawl the country and attend live sporting events then don’t waste your money on this one. Can you imagine the sort of stakes needed to recoup your travel expenses and entrance fees to all those sporting events you attend and then make a profit as well.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

I have had a good read through the manual. It is short, straight to the point and well written which is about the only good thing I can say about it. In my opinion this guy tries to cover too many sports but has no big answers on any of them.

Basketball and Baseball:

Uses progressive staking of 3 bets. For me progressive staking is a big no no as in the end you end up hitting your worse nightmare wiping previous profits out and usually more.

Soccer:

What he suggests is looking for tight games and then trading. i.e. Laying OVER 2.5 goals before the match and then Backing OVER 2.5 goals after the first 5 minutes and so on if no goal has been scored… It may work out for most games but it is time consuming and you have to bet an many games to make some sort of decent profit and at some point someone would score on the first few minutes and you would easily lose any profits previously made.

Tennis:

He suggests to back favourites where the difference in odds is higher than the points suggested. A very poor way to find the winner of a tennis match in my opinion. If it was that easy I wouldn’t be writing this review.

Horse Racing:

The idea is to look for clear favourites the night before racing which are also heavily tipped by the newspaper tipsters. You then back those favourites the night before and then lay them at lower odds the next day. The idea is that many people place their selections based on the mornings paper selections hence moving the price down. This is a very old method that is found for free all over the internet. It will work on many occasions but is not profitable long term.

To summarize the author has a good use of the jargon but really all he’s done is taken a set of random criteria and moulded them into something that looks like a system. We all know that if you put a set of criteria together and apply it to any sporting event, if you apply it enough times eventually some will look viable.

I cannot see anybody being completely happy if they have paid good money for this, quite frankly what he has produced isn’t any better than I could produce after an hours work on the computer researching sporting facts.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

The betting profits formula is written by a guy called Joshua Jacobs. Joshua used a lot of clever marketing tricks to ensure that his book was one of the most eagerly awaited and talked about publications in recent years. So does it live up to all the hype?

When you purchase the book you receive a 194 page PDF document.

The first 13 pages are basically an introduction and a Glossary of racing terms.

This leads on to the first of the six modules contained within.

Module one covers the fundamentals of sports betting, how to find value bets, money management (pros and cons of staking plans), and record keeping of bets. It’s good for the novice, but there is nothing new here for the more seasoned punter.

Module two provides a couple of betting systems that appear very logical and although not tested in theory should make long term profits.

Module three covers football betting strategies which again do make sense in theory.

Module four covers other sports but there is no real meat to this section. It shows how to find value bets in tennis as an example.

Module five deals with trading on the exchanges and football and cricket are covered once again. I have actually used the trading strategies with very good success.

Module six is the final module which gives you tips from the professionals. The systems and strategies in this section are very similar to systems seen before so nothing really new here for the more experienced punters.

The final 70 pages are basically an overview of the six modules plus extra systems and strategies some of which look very interesting.

Overall there is a lot of information contained within. Some useful and some not. The book contains a lot of old tried and tested methods and in my opinion is better suited to the novice punter to those more experienced. My overall score therefore reflects this.

Rating: 3/5 – Worth buying and you can expect to win a steady amount of money when used correctly.
