The Four The Win system comes in the form of a 16 page PDF the first four pages cover the usual disclaimer and introduction in page 5 up to page 16 the author starts to discuss the system, options A & B and the staking plan which is based on Fibonacci, there are plenty of examples of the system in action.

The author acknowledges the fact that there is considerably less bets in the winter months and that’s why he came up with Option B. Option A is a set of four simple rules requiring two racing websites to find a selection, all Option B is, is a Option A minus 2 rules to allow more bets in the winter months. Now as regards the selections above only half would have qualified if using Betfair SP but I was able to secure a price within the range specified in the rules before the off.

Review Period 8th November to 19th November (12 Days)

8 Selections

7 Winners

87.5% Strike Rate

Average price of Selection: 2.05

Price of Losing Bet: 2.00

Profit/Loss + 5.65

I never got a chance to try the staking plan as I only had 1 loser, but it works like this 1, 1, 2, 3, 5 stop go back to 1 point so if your first 2 bets lose your next stake would be 2 points and so on, if my 5 point selection loses I revert back to 1 point according to the author this has only happened once. The system is fairly easy to use takes around 15 minutes per day and concerns female horses plus other rules. There was a only a few selections as you can see during the trial which makes it hard to assess.

Given the low prices of the loser and long as the system hits high seventies, low eighties on the strike rate it will make a profit.

Rating: 3/5 based on the Strike Rate and the fact it was a few points in profit

I was given a copy of the system by the author upon the release and I hope this provides sufficient information to whether the system is appropriate for your style of betting.

So, the price is currently £29 but the web site indicates a rise to £49. (It actually says increases will occur in 3 days, but I have had the system for 3 days and the increase has not occurred!!!) The package consists of a 12-page PDF copy of the system (meaning it is accessible) there is also an email service, which forwards selections, without using the manual selection process (although the system is simple, these services are useful). The service is offered for a single payment of £39.95.

The presentation is professional, with screen shots of sites used to make selections. Although the system is only 12 pages, it is precise and concise with no padding to make the manual seem more appealing. However, there are comments made in following section regarding the system (see below). The system uses only 3 selection steps!!! And everything is covered in how to make selections. In the manual, each step includes clear screen shots and instructions; and has web links to areas where information can be found. (I have reservations regarding the system, but this is covered later). The manual also contains a money management system, which is essential when making profits from gambling; and seems to use a common sense approach. The price seems acceptable for this type of manual, but attention needs to be given to the sales pitch regarding increasing the price.

So, any adverse comments:?! Well, when initially reading the system, it indicates 2 distances on which selections are made (sorry if being vague, but I am trying not to reveal the exact system). It became slightly confusing whether these were 2 specific distances, or whether the system uses races falling between these distances. It only became clear when the author gave an example. Inserting the word “between”, when giving distances, would prevent this confusion and provide faith in the system (which sadly is lacking – but more later)

Another comment; the author advises to flit around the racing post web site, to obtain various selection information. However, click on the days first race meet, scroll through to find possible selections, click on the race, then click the selected horse to obtain information required. This is much easier and all information is available from the race card. This flitting about (not necessary) dilutes the faith I have in this system. These may seem trivial, but I feel, systems presented to paying punters, must be accurate and time effective. If this system used more than 3 steps to make selections, this would not be the case. Tweaking the manuals presentation is needed to ensure the system is correctly understood and time management is minimised.

So, what is my initial perception? Well! Firstly. I agree, make systems as simple as possible so bets can be tunefully placed. I also agree with not “padding” manuals with irrelevant information – i.e. including lengthy autobiographies; or how to use betfair; or a lengthy synopsis of how systems were developed; but this system takes streamlining to a new degree. We need some author credentials of experience and knowledge, which allow them to produce systems. We also need brief descriptions of how systems developed and data proving systems work. Without this, I become very sceptical and this was my reaction on first reading.

Honestly; it seems the author picked his lucky number, then devised what seems “a fad system” to accompany this. The web site claims have little, if any long term proof of claims, just single winning bets! I expect; at least on web sites; a section showing previous trial statistics for claims being made. The web site claims this system is no gimmick, but is exactly how it feels, with no counterclaims to defend the system!!! However, I said I would test the system and “ours is not to reason why, ours is just to buy and try”. So, will it stand real live testing?

To be honest, the system is self-explanatory and using only 3 steps, can be executed over a whole race card in minutes. However, as mentioned, I have reservations, as the system seems too simplistic. It does not seem to use sufficient data to enable it to be taken seriously, but live tests will prove whether this system produces high success rates.

Results of implementing System!

N.B. For the purpose of the trial, and because I do not always use betfair, I am using the rule; one quarter odds for a second place and one fifth odds for third and fourth place. Using this ensures consistency. I am starting with a £500 account, using the simple money management system the manual provides i.e. each way bets of 1 betting stake win and 1 betting stake place for all races.

N.B. No email service arrived, even though selections available.

The author includes money management with the system. In my opinion, all betting systems should include money management, as this determines potential losses, which may occur. The money management seems adequate, but with my scepticism of the system, my initial bankroll is £500 (common when testing new systems) and I indicate daily gains/losses, to compare strike rates. As mentioned, I will see if the system lives up to its claims under live test conditions, seeing if the money management system is sufficient.

Unlike the rest of this review, this section was completed after the test period. I feel this only fair, to test the system as originally intended. Here are my opinions.

Overall stats

System tested over 32 days (as 2 days had no runners)

System produced –33.69 staking points = -£168.45 if using money management

System had 4 wins; 9 second places; and 7 third places from 82 selections

System gives strike rate of 24.39%

System would produce laying strike rate of 95.12%

The system author uses extremely limited data to choose horses and this seems the reason for astonishingly low strike rate (24.39%) and total losses of £168.45 from the initial starting bank using £5 stakes as suggested. Considering statistics, the author would produce much better strike rates as a laying system and would certainly have been in profit. As my initial suspicions indicated, this system probably produces similar strike rates to ones choosing favourite numbers to back horses, or even choosing horses blindfolded. As a laying system, it would produce much more profit, but I feel credibility is lacking and lay results only arose by chance. I suggest not even purchasing this system for lay options as selections are not stable enough, but the lay option would have been a more accurate way to market the system.

System Extras!

As mentioned, an email service is available, but comes at a price. Although email services are convenient, with this system only being 3 steps, I feel this service does not warrant the cost The service states all selections are sent before 11.30 each race day. During testing, this was the case, the latest I received the service was 11.10. However, during the test, there where incidents where wrong information was given for selections, (including times and courses) and incidents where selections where not even sent by email. I feel, when paying for services, these issues should never occur. Information should be thoroughly checked then sent every day regardless, if not, reputations quickly fail. This, along with poor system performance (as seen above) does not provide faith in the system and in my opinion, I would stay well clear if considering as a professional gambling tool.

The upsell e-book entitled Trap the Winner, is based on backing horses and relies on checking the draw bias at certain race courses, obviously this only applies to flat racing. Apart from using some additional criteria from the Racing Post I don’t believe that there is anything new for the experienced punter as draw bias will always be a factor in certain sprint handicaps, especially in large fields. This book is not something I would recommend as a purchase. Disappointingly there are no previous results to show, simply a staking plan showing you how you can win all of this Tax Free money!

CONCLUSION

What can I say? The system, in my opinion, is a complete sham. The web site provides little data to back up claims, and sales letters only provide single instances where wins occurred. This is not good enough, and in my opinion, is a “money making scam” which cheats paying public. Harsh words, but statistics in this report are proof. If back testing stats were available (as with systems I currently use) these would have shown the system is not as good as advertised. Where these excluded so the system had at least some chance of earning the author some quick cash?

The author claims over 20 years betting experience. Sounds good, but I know people having over 40 years experience, however this is always a losing streak! The system uses extremely limited data to select the horses, which over time becomes very damaging to bankroll profits. Most systems I use to produce profit, generally use at least 4 pieces of statistical data to produce selections. Any less and strike rates quickly diminishes to below 50%. A system producing strike rates of below 25% can be considered disastrous. I believe technical date says pure chance produces around 30% strike rate, so it seems picking horses blindfolded would produce similar, if not better profits. This, along with unreliability of email service definitely indicates, in my opinion, this “fad” betting system does not enter my library, not even as a laying system. I feel the laying stats were pure chance and I rely on more than chance when placing bets.

Rating 1/5 – Leave well alone and advise colleagues the same. I believe this system a complete waste of money and similar, if not better strike rates could be duplicated devising simple systems yourself, e.g. only choosing jockeys who wear green as their colour and ride Irish horses. Back each horse each way!!! In fact, paper test this, as I feel this rule would produce very similar strike rates as the Lucky seven system

Once again there were bold claims in the sales flyer, a former Window Cleaner claimed the code had been cracked and a secret loophole had been magically discovered allowing tax free earnings of £50-£100 every single day and from a small starting bank of £50.

The Betting Black Box system had arrived in my inbox recently as my next review project and is indeed refreshing to find that although it was a horse racing lay system, it was indeed very different from a previous one I had reviewed earlier.

Whereas the other system required the user to be at the PC for long periods, the Betting Black Box did not require such attention. Selections could be made in a matter of twenty minutes or so and any bets could be placed prior to the commencement of the racing.

Written by The Betting Black Box Team the manual came in a 50 page download and in the usual PDF format. I’ve not yet had the experience of reading a manual without some ‘padding’ or other and this manual proved to be no different. In the main it was quite well written with clear and concise picture presentation boxes from Betfair and The Racing Post and were used widely as working examples.

By pages 9/10 we were immersed in the concepts and rules of the system and any thoughts of earlier claims to discovered loopholes were very quickly dispelled. It is actually just a logical concept of the Betfair horse racing markets and four main rules when applied, that make The Betting Black Box system ‘come alive’ with implemented strategies.

Page 28 provided us with a good progressive staking plan which when applied displays the stake without any further need for long and arduous calculations. I scrutinised pages 30-50 at some length and although they may have been of some value to the inexperienced, many punters would want to ‘ship’ these unnecessary pages to the nearest waste disposal bin.

Otherwise the manual was very informative and well presented. The system comes at a cost to the punter and involves shelling out a one off fee of £27 but carries a risk free guarantee of sixty days should it fail to make a profit.

Conclusion.

The very name The Betting Black Box system conjures up much in the frailties of the imagination and certainly reminds one of the uses of the Black Box in an average aircraft situation. However it’s far removed from the truth as one easily discovers, and if you are left searching for a consistent way to make money you can do worse than obtain a copy of The Betting Black Box. I feel that it will point you in the right direction. It takes a little time to acquaint oneself with the strategies and implementation of such, but once mastered, the way forward is clear to a projected run of lay winners. It boasts a very well written and illustrated manual and with the ‘unwanted’ removed, is one of the best I have encountered.

RATING 5/5 Great system and therefore merits top marks.

Just a quick update on Betting Black Box and the reverse method to find winners.

The author does state in his book that certain selections are ruled out, as it is possible that they may win the race and this is proving to be the case.

By not meeting the criteria, I mean that

(1) They have won by more than the distance expected in their last race (according to the system rules)

(2) Not been penalised excessively (i.e. not gone up in the weights or not by enough weight according to the system)

(3) Are running in a lower class race

Not all of the above criteria have to be met, but here are some results for using the Betting Black Box in reverse!

Sat 28/11

Ling 1.10 Spinning Bailiwick Won 4/5

Towc 3.05 Ayamdee Won 7/4

Mon 30/11

Fake 1.50 Petroglyph Won 11/4

Fake 2.20 I’moncloudnine 2nd 2/1

Folks 2.30 Natural Action Won 85/40 (I got 4.1 on Betfair for this horse as it was a big drifter in the market!!)

A level stake profit of +6.43 points (at SP) and remember this is in addition to the normal “lay” strategy horses, certainly something worth thinking about!

(I was out all day Sunday, hence the gap in days!)

A few rules but relatively easy to understand and getting the selections takes a few minutes a day. Alright for the 9 to 5ers as the bets can be placed at any time.

There will occasions when one needs to be brave because losing runs have been up to 20 races although if backing each way then this comes down to 8. I believe his omitting course winners for national hunt to be an error because although a small number races, course winners have shown a 76% return on investment.

I have been able to research this system thoroughly and although the past is not always a good measure of the future I can confirm, but for minor blips that the results going back over six years are accurate and the system has been profitable every year.

Despite what he says about the system it is a back fitted system but it has shown consistency over many years and there is no reason to believe this cannot continue.

My research shows the flat system made 26% profit on return and the national hunt system made a 68% return on investment. With minor tweaking of the flat system I have got this up to a 50% return on investment.

UPDATE 29/11/2009

5 year consistency plan has had an awful time recently showing a 17 point loss over the last seven weeks = 30 losers 4 winners and a return, at inflated early prices of minus 17 points. the problem is it is a back fitted system ie: the 5 year results for the tracks show a profit and for each year over the 5 years the system itself has shown a profit. It is reasonable to assume therefore that an ongoing profit can be made with the system. it is in profit for 2009 but only minor profits.

however the system is flawed because for any five year period other than 2004 to 2008 you get a different set of winning and losing tracks also for any individual year you get a different set of winning and losing tracks. the flaw is in the statistical number of results at each track in total for each year which is a minute quantity and would be claimed to be statisically irrelevent and as such makes the data highly questionable and prone to flawed results as we have seen over the last couple of months.

the one additional area of the system however which has some statistical relevance is not backing races under 5 runners and it improves the profitability significantly and is logical. it still remains a positive review but id recommend use for small stakes and part of a portfolio because there will be losing runs and potential for the system to go against you.

Rating 3/5 Average performer but worth buying to have in the portfolio.

As I sit here writing this, I am not entirely sure what I am going to say about the David O’Neil Racing System, because it has me intrigued.

When I first read the manual I thought the guy was a nut. I suppose I have been exposed to too many systems that mention the Fibonacci sequence, that my mind just switches off. It doesn’t make easy reading, seems at times it looks like the only person who knows what he’s talking about is the author.

The strategy is really simple. Really, really simple. Its just backing the favourite in certain races over a two day run. There is also a few other rules hidden away. At first flush results can seem impressive but the penny dropped by the end of the manual, that this was a statistical quirk that really couldn’t be relied upon.

My main confusion at first was why the heck he kept mentioning random days and not really laying things out in black and white. The tip off was the staking part, and I don’t think the author really knew what to say at this point. I tried back checking this week from Monday to Saturday, and by the suggested staking you would have lost about 3 or 4
points, I didn’t bother checking with his burbling about increasing stakes. Oddly if you had put one point on each of the selections you would have made about 1.5 points profit on the week. Now I know a week isn’t exactly representative, but it confirmed that the overall strike rate was about 37% which for a favourites system is pretty rubbish, and with low prices, a invitation to the poor house.

Although the author talks a good talk, it really comes down to a favourite backing system. The addition of the Fibonacci mentions is really just something to hang his hat on. As to whether this is a long term or even sustainable system, I seriously doubt it. I’m sure I could put a pin in the racing pages four times a day and pick a few winners.
It is interesting that favourites do win in these races, but as with all favourites systems, there are more losers than winners. Also prices can be on the low side, so if you were using increasing stakes you could very quickly wipe your bank out.

So, all in all, this is a system that I believe is nothing more than putting a pin in the paper, with a few bells and whistles. The random nature of the results show that it will work on random occasions, but it will just as likely fail as well. I was disappointed because at first sight it looked like an interesting little system.

Rating: 2/5 – The system may have some merit but in my opinion it is not reliable enough to use in the long-run and is one to avoid.

On the 8th of July the selection sent was identical to that of the Lowlay laying service. It’s fair to say that services can end with the same selections but this was blatant. Not only was the selection identical but the email sent from punter express was identical to that sent by Lowlay and the staking advice was copied word for word.

The people behind Lowlay tried to contact the punter express team but there emails went unanswered.

I emailed punter express with my concerns and they replied as follows:

“Hello Iain,

Our service is a legitimate service. We are not thieves and we don’t copy information from other websites. Very often is possible to find the best horse selection of the day that is similar or the same to other tipster services. Please feel free to ask me any other questions.

Best,

The Punter Express Team”

I did ask why they copied the email from Lowlay word for word and they said:

“Again this is just a coincidence. We never had these kinds of problems before. However we will make some changes on the structure of the email starting tomorrow. We already advised clickbank and explained what is going on.”

There is no way this was coincidence and changing the structure of the emails is an admission in my opinion.

The website now states that membership is closed but the doors may reopen at a later date. This is a marketing tactic I have seen on many occasions and I strongly urge that you don’t fall victim to it.

Punter express can’t be trusted in my opinion.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

Over a year ago now Jonathan told me about the Race Specialist laying system that he had developed. He clearly stated that he would not release the system to the general public until he was 100% happy with the system and true to his word he never did until now which is a true testament to his commitment in producing top class betting systems.

I have been privileged to view the system pre-release and proof the results on the website and I can verify these are 100% correct.

So whats the difference between False Favourites and the new Race Specialist system?

They are similar from a form perspective and are both based around logical racing fundamentals.

Both are also designed to help punters reach a higher level of skill with regards to learning about racing and choosing sections. To coin a tedious cliche` “knowledge is power” but very true.

False Favourites is a solid form based selection process based around years of logical racing stats that point the user in the right area for identifying horses that will struggle to win because they are racing outside favoured conditions. Combined with the core principles of good money management and and a good understanding of how Betfair racing markets actually work.

Racing Specialist is a solid form based selection process based around years of logical racing factors that point the user in the right area to identify horses that are likely to run well but fail to win, because they are COMPETING IN EXTREMELY COMPETITIVE RACES, often racing outside their favoured conditions.

The methodology is to show system users which races to get involved with and how to obtain maximum value on every bet, so when a loser is struck the liability is minimal. Clever staking and pro – bet execution techniques are taught to help everyone get the very best out there individual betting. Racing Specialist contains many pro tips and tutorials which increase the users knowledge of lay betting and horse racing in a – responsible, honest, realistic way.

The whole concept is based around value, so even when the odd winner is hit, there is no massive swings in emotions. Betting within a comfort zone is one of the key ingredients to becoming successful with lay betting.

Successful betting is not only based around knowledge, <ins datetime="2008-11-04T17:11" cite="mailto:Nemo"></ins><del datetime="2008-11-04T17:11" cite="mailto:Nemo"></del>but also confidence, if <del datetime="2008-11-02T10:43" cite="mailto:Nemo"></del><ins datetime="2008-11-02T10:43" cite="mailto:Nemo"></ins><ins datetime="2008-11-02T10:43" cite="mailto:Nemo"></ins><del datetime="2008-11-02T10:43" cite="mailto:Nemo"></del>you are fearful of losing too much money each time you place a bet you will never gain any. Your betting is likely to be an uncomfortable and often loathsome experience.

If you already lay horses or wish to profit from doing so then I can’t stress enough that you need a copy of Race Specialist in your portfolio.

Jonathan Burgess is one of the very few genuine system sellers around and Race Specialist only endorses this fact even further.

Rating 5/5 – Highly recommended. The system works both short and long term without fail and in my opinion is one of the best genuine systems available.

After carefully reading this system, I was excited by its potential. It is based on some good fundamentals and ideas where you are only concentrating on horses that are connected to those who are continuously successful in investing in top quality thoroughbred horses and training the best horses and winning the most prize money.

The theory is that these people will always have their protégés, which are going to be initially un-exposed but be of high quality and can be a star in the making. These horses will start out by winning maidens and conditions races at big prices and then go on to win even bigger prizes.

The author of this system lays out everything in a clear and concise manner. He tells you exactly what races to bet in and gives you a defined list of Trainers and Owners etc and recommends that you use this exact list with some other criteria to pick your selections for the day. Picking the selections is quite easy and straightforward and you cannot really go wrong with it as it is black or white; its either a selection or its not.

The problem is that there can be a lot of selections in one day. For example on a Saturday or on a big days racing there could be more than 40 selections but on a midweek day or a Sunday if racing is generally of a poor standard, there maybe only be 3 or 4 selections but there will be some selections almost every single day. At first, it will be very time consuming but as you get to become familiar with all the trainers and owners etc, you will actually be able to pick selections quickly and automatically without consulting the list. The great thing is that you can do this the night before or even 2 or 3 days before if you wish (but doing this means that some of your selections will end up being non runners). So although it can take up a bit of time, if you plan ahead you can make time to sit down and pick out your selections well in advance. You can also place your bets on Betfair using Betfair SP the evening before the days racing so it is practical if you work during the day.

While I was testing out this system, the author released an adapted version. The reason for this is that he had received feedback saying that punters either didn’t have the time or were not comfortable backing so many selections. The new adapted version is based on a more selective approach and largely reduces the number of selections. Based on last years flat season it actually increased your profit percentage and return on investment. It made an overall less profit than the original system but as there were 900 less selections over the entire season with this new system version – you would have made more per selection for a lot less time and hassle.

If you are reading this – im sure it is because you have read advertisements that this system has made over 700 points to SP over the 2008 flat season and 1100 points to Betfair SP. Now the way the system is designed this can be checked; the author cannot hide or manufacture results. He gives you more detail of the previous results included with the system and you can go back and check them out and any results that I have looked at – I can verify as true.

Now here comes the part that you are waiting for – with the amazing profits this system made over last year’s flat season – how successful has this system been for me this year? The answer is – Not very successful I am afraid. Im sure you have anticipated this as you are no longer receiving emails and post advertising the great profits the system is making. After receiving an advertisement on May the 7th 2009 saying that the system has made 73 points already from May 1st to May 7th I then started testing on May 8th and recorded results based on betfair SP until June 30th 2009. Im sorry to say that the system actually lost 154 points during this time this is despite some great winners at a betfair sp of 54, 36, 32 , 23 ,22 and 21. It also had numerous occasions where there horses placed 2nd with huge odds of 30 or 40 but with the sheer number of selections you probably would hope to be hitting these winners. But there were some occasional cases where you could get a winner at 6 or 7 to 1 but still make a loss on the race as there were 7 or 8 selections in that race. Even if you take into account the fact that the system made a profit of 73 points in the first week of May – it is still a loss of 81 points over 2 months.

On the up side! The new more selective version actually broke even between May 8th and June 30th and there is still potential there for good profits. In the month of June the more selective system would have made you 23 points based on 191 selections for the month. Again based on that first week in May before I began testing, it may have made a small profit in May as well.

My final thought is that this system seems to underline the statement that past results do not indicate future results. It worked tremendously well over last years flat season but seem to be failing miserably this year. Just because certain trainers and owners etc had some fantastic amount of winners last year at big prices – it does not mean that this year they will have the same success.

My thinking is that this could easily turn around again in July and there could be potential that it could have a great summer but I would be very wary as even backing at £10 a point the losses could mount up before you find that big winner.

Therefore I could only recommend using the more selective approach, which will be included with the main system if you purchase it. It is so much easier and quicker to operate and there will be plenty of days with no selections and it is less risky. Last year from June to November by using the selective system you would have made over 500 points but what the last 2 months have proven is that by using that as a basis, it does not really give any indication that the same will happen this year.

It is really for you to decide if you want to go by the incredible results the system produced over 7 months last year versus the poor results over 2 months this year. If you do decide to buy – I hope that things turn around for you and you have more luck with it than I did.

Rating: 2/5 – The system may have some merit but in my opinion it is not reliable enough to use in the long-run and is one to avoid.

The author of the system sent me a copy to review but was not happy that I advised people not to purchase the system until my tests were complete. This is something I always do and you are soon to see why.

The system itself is based around virtual horse racing and is very simple to understand. It backs certain horses using a progressive staking plan to win a set amount each day.

You need to be in the bookies or online from around 9am until a winner is found at which point you would stop for the day and bank your profits.

To make the £120 a day profit a bank of £3800 is required and if a winner is not found you could potentially lose this whole amount in one day so this is not for the faint hearted.

When the system was released it was said that this had only happened once this year but I did warn that it would almost certainly happen again.

My concern was that once the bookies found out that the system was being used they would make the changes required and put an end to the so called loophole. The author said this couldn’t happen but I know of several loopholes in the past that were stopped when made public so in my opinion it could and would happen.

I hope people took note of my concerns as on the 29th of May and again on the 17th of June NO winners were found

The refund offer states you will get you money back if the system fails the day after it is purchased. What use is getting your money back if you have just lost upto £3800 using it?

I have always warned about progressive staking systems but progressive staking on virtual horse racing is simply suicidal in my opinion.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.

Lowlay.com which is a service as the name suggests that provides one horse each day that is expected to be beaten. Selections are sent around 11.30am each morning by email and the maximum recommended odds to lay at are 4.5 on the exchanges.

The service has been proofing selections to racing-index and from the 20th February 2009 to 10th May 2009 inclusive there were 54 Successful selections from 71 advised which is a brilliant strike rate for a laying system considering the average odds were just 3.54. The profit during this period was almost 20 points using level stakes which is also very good for a laying system. The longest losing run was only 2 so I am certain the profits could have been increased even further using a staking plan.

Let’s get on to my live testing results.

To ensure an accurate review was given I used Betfair SP as this way no discrepancies could be found. I simply enterered my Lay bet at Betfair SP with maximum odds of 4.5.

During my tests it was noted that my results differed from those shown on the Lowlays website. The reason for this is that racing-index who proof there selections don’t take into account the maximum price rule whereas I did. My results are therefore deemed accurate.

Any selections that started above 4.5 are excluded from the results shown below WIN or LOSE.

From the 1st May 2009 until the 24th June 2009 inclusive there were 32/38 Successful Lay Bets advised.

Laying each selection using a £10 stake at Betfair SP and deducting 5% commission from successful lays made an overall PROFIT of: + £186.49

This service is a refreshing change as the strike rate is consistently good and the prices of selections are always LOW with the average price of selections being 3.7.

Unless something goes horribly wrong in the future you should profit using the selections as advised.

Rating 4/5 – The system performs well both short and long term and in my opinion is one of the genuine systems available.
