Betfair Loophole

Betfair loophole is the latest system to do the rounds with promotional emails landing in inbox's at a staggering rate. So does it live up to all the hype.

Once again we find another system that doesn't. This is the most misleading sales page I have come across as at no point did I think I was buying a greyhound system. The system shows a screenshot of a cricket match after all.

I emailed the seller to ask why this was being shown and my first email was ignored. I emailed again and said who I was and about this website and surprise surprise I got a response. In answer to my question I was told

" Sorry for the confusion. The cricket match was an example of what can be achieved with Betfair and Trading. The system is about backing and laying greyhounds. Hope that clears things up."

It certainly does. It confirms that I was duped into buying the system using misleading marketing tactics.

So onto the system itself. Basically you lay greyhounds which are favorites at certain prices in certain types of grades.

The guides name infers that there is some sort of unknown method of successfully profiting from Betfair. A greyhound laying system is definitely not a loophole, but just another system.

The guide states that you can often back a selection after you have layed it at bigger odds to guarantee a profit. This is basic trading. What the guide fails to tell you is any sort of formula that will ensure the greyhounds will drift more often than not. Basically if they drift you back them and if they don't you don't.

The liquidity on greyhound races is very poor in general and with hundreds of people trying to lay the favourite you can imagine what problems this will cause.

Another flaw is that the greyhound markets only come alive in the last minute or so and unless you use a bot you will struggle to lay and back in time before the race starts. The guide also gives no insight into how to deal with joint favourites, or even combined favourites, which happen quite regularly at the dogs.

The system itself may make small amounts of money but in general there is not a great deal of historic proof to support success long term.

Score: 1/5 - very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.
