The
5star Tipster Horse Racing System

I received mixed messages about the 5star tipster
horse racing service so I contacted Jamie Kelly who runs the service to request a 2 month
membership so I could review it for myself. After several emails and a lot of
persuasion Jamie agreed.
I received access to the 5star tipster software and also my quick start guide which
all new members receive.
The software is a progressive staking calculator which
I actually found very good. The selections to use each day with the software are
emailed around noon and there are usually around 7-10 selections.
I was advised as all members are to divide my bank by 250 to find my initial
profit target. So using a £5000 bank your initial profit target would be £20.
The selections are loaded into the software very easily and all stakes are
calculated for you after each race.
You are told to stop after your first winner and bank the days profits.
To be honest everything sounded very good. I did
email Jamie to ask what if a winner wasn't found in the day as I wanted to know
if you carry on to the next day where you left off or not?
Jamie Said:
We always end a cycle everyday. The
trick with my system is to stop at the first winner, I preach this. Members who
lose money are those who bet on every selection, and have open cycles overnight.
I do not advise this approach, and members who do this will lose in the long
term.
Thanks,
Jamie Kelly

The first 5 days were very good and a winner was
found each day as promised and my profit target was won. I was happy with
the system and the communications I had with Jamie. My bank was also growing
very nicely indeed.
On Wednesday the 06 February 2008 things took a
dramatic turn for the worse. There were 7 selections for the afternoon racing
and 3 which ran in the evening.
During the afternoon all 7 selections were losing
bets. Using a bank of £5000 and a profit target of £20 meant I was losing
-£748.25
I still had a lot of money in the bank and as long
as a winner was found in the evening all would be fine.
I then received the following email from Jamie:
Jamie Said:
Dear ALL
We have had 7 losses so far, 1 bet was a non runner, and our gearing is at 37.1
so far (this is based of using 100% of your PPR, and not the recommend level).
If you did follow the 50% of the PPR today, your gearing would be 37.1/2, so
about 18. Please note my figures are based on SP's of traditional bookmakers, if
you used Betfair which most of you do, your gearing is even lower.
We do have 2 very strong selections left for today, I want you to follow the two
selections below, and to end the cycle today.
9) 6.20 Kempton - Mr Loire (approx odds of 2/1)
10) 6.50 Kempton - Sovereignty (approx odds of 9/4)
I am not worried at all. I feel we will hit a winner today, and we will end our
cycle today. I also want to add, even if we don't hit a winner, we can still
afford 3 more selections tomorrow at 2/1 or above. Please remember my
calculations are based on using 100% of your PPR, if you used 50%, you can
afford even more.
Just follow the selections above, and stop at the first winner. If you cannot
bet today, don't worry, I will get a winner in the first few races tomorrow, and
you can end your cycle then. If you cannot bet this evening, you can follow 5
more selections at 2/1, so I will get an early winner tomorrow.
If you confused, email me - I am here for support.
Thanks,
Jamie Kelly

I was a bit confused with this as Jamie said before
"We always end a cycle everyday"
There was also no mention of the 3rd evening
selection which was given as follows: 8.50 Kempton - Garrulous
I emailed Jamie as seen below as was quite frankly
shocked by what followed. I have copied all emails below so you can see for
yourself how things went.

I am getting confused.
I asked you before about carrying over cycles to the next day and you
said "We always end a cycle everyday."
Your now saying carry onto the next day?
Also what about the horse in the 8.50 tonight?
it was given this morning but not mentioned tonight?

Jamie Said:
Hi Iain,
It seems to me no matter how I help you, you want to give me negative press.
What I said is, follow the last 2 selections which I listed, and one should
win. I also added if you cannot bet due to other commitments to start
betting tomorrow.
Iain, I don't know how I have annoyed you, but you seem hell bent on exposing
me as a fraud, and I am not that, I am dedicated to my service.
I think the best thing is to go out seperate ways - I will end my cycle, and
none of my members will lose. I will cancel your membership after the cycle
is closed just to show you that I am true to my word, and we do make money.
If you feel you wish to write a bad proposal about my service, do as you
may... I cannot stop you.
Kind Regards
Jamie Kelly

I am totally shocked by your reply. I ask the questions to give an
accurate review. I have always said if the service is good then it will get a good review.
I have kept every email sent between us and will base
my review on this and the reviews I receive from my members.
I am not a
mug punter and see things mug punters don't. This is why I have
challenged you.
Your response says it all.

Jamie Said:
Hi Iain,
Please do anything you want to - you only have 1500 odd members, I have
50,000 readers. I also work with other people you have heavily annoyed as
well. Any bad press, I will expose you for who you are as well.
I suggest if you cannot de-list me from your website or I can come down to
St Leonard's-On-Sea, and personally visit you for a friendly chat, so we can
sort out this nonsense. I know a few other people who might want to join me
for a chat as well.
I trust you will chose your path very carefully, and not cross me.
Kind Regards

Another one for my website - well done.
My Father-In-Law works for East Sussex police and I will be reporting this threat also.
I write reviews good and bad. If I upset people then so be it. It's my
opinion at the end of the day and what my visitors do with it is up to
them.
I don't hide my address as I am doing nothing wrong.
I understand your under a huge amount of pressure today but you have
handled the whole situation very wrongly. I asked a simple question and
you have resorted to threats to keep me quite.
There really was no need for it and it will not stop me giving an
accurate and unbiased review.

Jamie Said:
Iain - do as you may.. as I will do too.
No threat was made... Just be careful of what you do, the choice is yours.
I have pressure for sure, but I will end my cycle and my members will make
profit.
I would appreciate no further email correspondence.
Thanks,
Kind Regards

As it went the final 3 selections all lost as well
meaning a loss on the day of
-£2674.15
My membership was also terminated as promised. It's
a shame as I would have loved to have seen what he told members after this!
Score: 1/5 -
very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one
to avoid.
