Five Minute Profits – Final Review

Submitted by admin on July 13, 2009 – 3:07 PMNo Comment

Five Minute ProfitsThis system primarily concerns trading on horse racing, a secondary system is also included in the package and is concerned with greyhounds, this will be covered later.  The first few pages examine some of the reasons why the majority of punters are unable to make a profit, these are well reasoned and for a newbie, could well be a valuable asset. The more experienced would almost certainly recognise this, as it’s freely available on the internet.  There are also the usual pages of mostly superfluous information on using Betfair.

When seeing the title for the first time I was under the impression the five minutes a day is all that was required to collate the bets for the day, however the system is a little bit more involved than that.

The races of interest for the day can be noted about an hour or two before racing commences, the parameters are few and simple, selection is fast, however every race needs to be scanned. There is then, little to do until five minutes before the race you are interested in, is due to go off.  The trade is then placed according to another pair of parameters, sounds simple, however I sometimes found it difficult to exactly match the requirements before placing the trade, when I did manage it, it was in the main, successful.

The parameters when actually placing the trade are quite stringent and although a successful trade gave an profit overall, the growing of a successful bank, really requires a larger bet than I am personally comfortable with. As the vendor explains this system will grow profits small and often, well I cannot argue with that.

The greyhound part of this system has three parameters and is simple and easy to operate, that’s the only good part.  I have tried to trade using the system parameters and have no luck whatsoever, liquidity in the greyhound market is a major problem when trading and the odds are in some cases not available until a very short time before the off.

In summary I cannot recommend 5 Minute Profits unless it is your intention to become a professional trader with the associated stakes required to sustain a living, in my experience in using the system, this type of trader could well have a positive outcome, however for the average punter I believe boredom would settle in fairly quickly when the bank increases at a very pedestrian rate.

In my opinion the greyhound part of this system is deeply flawed due in the main to the liquidity in the greyhound market and is not to be recommended.

Rating: 2/5 – The horse racing system has some merit for a budding professional trader, but be aware requires large stakes to grow a bank in a reasonable timeframe, the greyhound system I found virtually un-usable.
