The Illuminatus System – Final Review
The Illuminatus system promised to be the greatest laying system ever devised but then don’t they all.
The system itself is very easy to operate and selections can be found in under 10 minutes the evening before racing takes place.
When I first looked at the system rules it was clear to see they were back fitted and to be honest the 8 rules made little sense at all. My initial thoughts were that the system would fail so further testing was required to see if this would be the case or not.
I put the system to the test and over a six week period there were 102/132 Successful Lay Bets.
Laying each selection using a 1% liability of a £1000 starting bank at Betfair SP and deducting 5% commission from successful lays as advised made a LOSS of: - £226.42
As with all laying systems the strike rate was excellent but when a selection did go on to win it’s race it was all too often at a very big price and the betting bank was hit very hard.
What made me laugh was the marketing tactics used with this one. The sales page states that only 30 copies would be sold yet a few months later the system is still for sale. If the author was only going to sell 30 copies he would make less than £500 when you deduct his setup costs and affiliate fees etc. Why on earth would he need to make £500 when he claims the system makes him 29 points profit per month on average.
Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.
