This is and will be one of the easiest reviews I have done.  16 points profit on a lay system with 2 to 3 qalifyers a day, normally one final selection and 3 losing …

Backtipster.com – Final Review

Submitted by admin on April 6, 2009 – 3:17 PMNo Comment

Website ClosedThe Back Tipster is a horse racing back system. The system essentially provides 5-10 selections everyday that are used for backing horses for an outright win. On average the system uses odds between 1.90 and 2.80 on the Betfair exchange.

Back Tipster places all the bets on behalf of their customers using automated software. Access to this is gained upon joining and you are required to enter your Betfair user name and password in the members area of the website. I am unsure how secure this is and if you are even allowed to do it so I contacted Betfair and asked them.

There reply was as follows:

“Unfortunately we are unable to comment on the security of another site. If you enter your login details into a 3rd parties website, you do so at your own risk and Betfair will not be held liable for any activity on the account. I apologise we could not be of greater assistance.”

Alternatively you can place the bets for yourselves if you wish and in my opinion this is the safer option.

Back Tipster was launched at the beginning of 2009 with the usual hype surrounding it. The website claims you will make 400% profit each year which is backed up by 4 years previous results. The past results on the website are not proofed though and must be taken with a pinch of salt.

I put the system to the test myself from January 1st 2009 until March 31st 2009 and my results were as follows:

January showed a LOSS of £79.23 based on a £1000 starting bank.

February also showed a LOSS of £95.67 based on a £1000 starting bank which again was very disappointing.

March showed a small PROFIT of £59.85 once again based on a £1000 starting bank.

Add the losses to the £120 a month subscription fee’s and you would be well out of pocket…

Back Tipster was also proofing selections to another major review site but decided to pull out half way through March which is not a good sign either.

Rating: 2/5 – The system may have some merit but in my opinion it is not reliable enough to use in the long-run and is one to avoid.
