This is and will be one of the easiest reviews I have done.  16 points profit on a lay system with 2 to 3 qalifyers a day, normally one final selection and 3 losing …

The Selector – Final Review

Submitted by admin on March 23, 2009 – 9:33 PMNo Comment

The SelectorThe selector horse racing software system claims to be an Astonishing, Simple, Ingenious, AND PROVEN Fast-Cash Software System From An Ex-Racing post Form Student who claims to make over $30.000 every year using the system.

Bold claims once again…but does it live up to them?

The author claims that after 3 long months of studying he has managed to find 7 Magical Facts where if a certain horse has these 7 magical statistics against their name in the Racing Post then the horse would have an amazing 45% chance of winning the race.

With just a few clicks the software automatically checks for selections each day using the criteria’s above and a few seconds later you are given the day’s selections that you then simply back to WIN using level stakes.

All sounds good so far…

That’s as far as the good news goes I am afraid.

I have had emails from members over the last few days saying:

“After 3 weeks of use the system was showing a substantial loss.”

“I am down 14 points in about six weeks”

“The selector doesn’t work and I lost 26 points in 14 weeks”

Not exactly what the author claims!

The system runs in fits and starts and it records very long losing runs, not something you would expect from a system that claims a 45% winning strike rate. The bank also goes up and down like a fiddlers elbow and returns to winning form as it finds the odd high priced winner.

A large proportion of the winners found fall into the Evens to Odds on category. So miss one of those big priced winners and you fall seriously into bigger losses.

I contacted the author James and he supplied me with the results for the last 12 months which were as follows:

Number of Selections 1401
Average Stake 1.00 points
Successful Selections 380
Success Percentage 27.12%
Total SP Profit -64.93 points / SP Profit On Turnover -4.63%
Total Betfair Profit 18.23 points / Betfair Profit On Turnover 1.3%

You will see the strike rate is much lower than that stated on the sales page and the author James has agreed that he should change this. He said in an email to myself “I admit they are now misleading which need to be changed”.

I am also unsure how the profit claims are made based on the results above and it will be interesting if these are also changed accordingly.

The software also comes with a 30 day unconditional guarantee as follows:

“I’m more than confident to give you a 30 day 100% full refund if they don’t live up the the claims I’ve made for them. I’m taking the risk… so you don’t have to!”

I noticed on a similar website to my own that there members were having problems obtaining the refund as promised above. I have also had emails over the last few weeks from visitors to this website stating that there refund requests have been ignored as have all there emails.

In my initial review I stated that the website was owned by Lee O’Hare. James has informed me that this is not the case and he actually brought the website from Lee.

It’s all a little suspicious to me and I would advise that you leave this well alone.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.
