The Roulette Payback System – Final Review

Submitted by admin on March 25, 2009 – 6:02 PMNo Comment

The Roulette Payback SystemThe Roulette Payback System arrives, as usual, in the form of a downloadable PDF and covers the basic history of the game which is uncannily similar to that of the Roulette Triad System who incidentally have recently offered me this system via email.

It has all the usual disclaimers and legal bum fluffery that accompany these types of “make you rich” systems which strongly indicates that even the system producers know that nothing is 100%.

On the first read I must admit that it gave me brain fade so a few reads would be necessary to get the general grasp as it has the basic strategy and an advanced method.

Without giving too much away the system focuses on playing the outside dozen bets in a carefully monitored sequence and is coupled with one of two progressive staking plans, the first one being a shorter sequence than the second one and being hailed as “Minimising Loss Impact”. Obviously if you stop betting sooner then this will indeed minimise your losses so no “O” level maths required for that one.

In practice the system made a regular profit as do all progressive types of roulette betting where you are basically chasing your losses. I am not knocking the progressive staking strategy as this is the only real way you can rake back losses in roulette and come out with a profit. The system does hit on a 20 + adverse result scenario and has no answer should this be an occurrence simply because there is no answer. The true fact is that you wouldn’t need to hit anywhere near 20 no-shows to hit the general betting maximum and/or your outlined betting sequence/s.

I have tested the system playing for at least 60 – 90 minutes per time on several different casinos and made a general profit overall. There were times that I was on level 8,9 and 10 in the progressing staking level which in real money isn’t for those with pacemakers installed.

In comparison to other similarly progressive roulette systems I find this one to be slightly more robust (i.e. wont hit the maximum bet so quickly), due to the reduced staking method but as you are betting on 32.43% chances on a variable strategy pattern then this can negate the overall effect somewhat and leave the system potentially vulnerable.

All casinos know the different strategies that players use and they know if they play for long enough then statistically they will get it all back eventually. The question really is whether or not you feel you can make more money than broken betting banks over the long term.

I am not altogether convinced either that practicing at casinos for fun chips is the same as if playing for real money. Fun chip games generally seem to play in your favour to encourage you to go on to the real thing and that is when the tide can turn on you.

All casinos have a betting maximum and the reason for this is quite simple. If you had pots of money you could keep betting on your sequences until it did show and the laws of probability show that eventually it will and hence you would never lose. The casinos are aware that multiple consecutive no-shows are not that uncommon and the betting maximums are tailored to take this into account especially on strategies that ask you to increase your next wager by a percentage to give a profit.

Casinos know all the tricks of the trade and their business is to take your money however smart you may think you are. Give a monkey an unlimited bet maximum and the keys to the Bank of England and I will guarantee that he or she would never lose.

My overall opinion of the system and like many similar types of system is that in the short term it can and does make a profit assuming you are brave enough to commit to the higher end of the betting plan. but hit an off day and you will eventually lose most if not all of your profits back to the casino and the hours wasted will be your only guarantee.

Rating: 2/5 – The system may have some merit but in my opinion it is not reliable enough to use in the long-run and is one to avoid.
