Mayfair Racing Agency
I have received the following emails visitor’s to this blog who have all been scammed by Mayfair Racing Agency.
“I refer to the above web site run by a father and son team called Peter & Kevin, I don’t know if you have had any dealings with these people or there site in the past, but at the moment they are Scamming people by offering inside Roulette Information that is guaranteed to win for a period of time at a certain online casino!!
The cost of this a whopping £500 for approx 5 weeks info, this is limited to only 10 people on a first come first served basis, unfortunately so far nothing has happened, so this is one big con!!
I was hoping you could warn ALL your other members about this Scam and if any other people have had the same happen to them I would be glad to hear from them so we can compare notes and maybe track these sh*ts down!!
Lastly if you know anything about these people of the web site I would be grate full as I do have a brother in law who is quite high up in the police force and could investigate for me further.
In the meantime please WARN all the other members to your web site and Blog.”

“I also got caught by the Mayfair scam and lost £500 sent to an (R P Spearman), Peter (is that his real name?) was very plausible and I did receive a USB with some numbers on it for my money ( a bargain!) and was fobbed off with reasons why it wasn’t ready yet. I emailed and phoned and texted him repeatedly for quite awhile with no response and I was more cross with myself for being caught and forgetting the old old adage ‘if it sounds too good to be true it usually is’. So, if you can warn people of these scams you get my vote. If you could put me in touch with the others I would be interested in bringing this low life to book! I have the bank details and a copy of all my emails.”

“I notice that a punter has written to you re the above who has been victim of a scam. I also have been turned over and like him feel foolish. However, this is fraud. I have contacted the police and trading standards in recent weeks and I am waiting for them to get back. Another punter contacted me saying he had been robbed as well, but when I asked him to contact the Halifax, where the £500 had to be deposited he felt he couldn’t because his wife might find out what he had done. Frankly punters must join up and prosecute this guy. He is very plausible and I mean very, and has to be stopped. He is dangerous. If you know of other victims please feel free to give them my email address.”

“I’m afraid I fell for the same scam which cost me £500. This is the first time I have been caught out in six years of racing activity and it has left me feeling pretty foolish. All I needed to do was type in Mayfair racing on the Web and warning of the scam was posted at Matthew Thole.
Confidence is established by use of what appears to be a site of integrity offering a range of systems and services and once trust is established you are drawn in by a cleverly designed pitch. I’d like to see them punished and the site closed down if this is possible as clearly they won’t stop doing this until they are forced out of action.”

“I notice you’re drawing attention to Mayfair Racing on your blog. I’m very pleased to hear that. It is run, I understand, by the Spearman clan.
About 10 years ago I was taken for over £2000 by a Royston Spearman – Peter’s father, I believe. I don’t want to go into details, but I had been a member of his loss-deductible service for about a year, with reasonable results, when he contacted me about a Betfair opportunity. Since I had “known” him for a while, I went for it.
For about two weeks, things went well, but then I found he had used my credit card details to steal £2400. Needless to say, he then vanished.
I didn’t take any legal action, although I did try to get my money back through my card issuer and Betfair, but without success. It was embarrassing, and I’m sure he played on that.
The only other contact I had was when I left feedback on a forum, when several others admitted also being defrauded. It sounds like this is related. It hurts to recount my experience, but I hope your making it public again may prevent others losing their money.”
So there it is. If you have had any dealings with Mayfair Racing Agency then please let me know so I can put you in touch with the others.
If Peter or Kevin are reading this then feel free to respond.
