How to ‘Place Bet’ on Favorites for a Living – Final Review

Submitted by admin on March 23, 2009 – 9:25 PMNo Comment

How to ‘Place Bet’ on Favorites for a LivingHow to ‘Place Bet’ on Favorites for a Living by Mohammed Ali has been around for several years and has consistently been one of the best selling systems online with over 25,000 reported sales.

As the title already states, it is about backing favorites to place. There are several rules you have to go through (number of runners, barrier draw, going, distance change etc.) and just by reading you might think this is the best system ever released. The fact is, it’s not worth it.

I agree that the selections can be found quickly and easily but all the claims on the sales page regarding profits are based on 90%+ winning bets at odds of 1.6 and above.

I would say the strike rate is more around the 70% mark and the odds are almost always below 1.4 and very often below 1.2. The reason for the low odds is because the plan focuses on hot form favorites that won their last race & this is always reflected in their price.

The fact is this one: You back horses that are over bet, therefore they return far less than they should.

When the system was first released I have no doubts it was profitable but if the reported sales can be believed then no wonder the odds are so low.

The low odds deem the system useless where long term profits are concerned making this a system to avoid in my opinion.

Rating: 2/5 – The system may have some merit but in my opinion it is not reliable enough to use in the long-run and is one to avoid.
