Betfair Cash Box – Final Review

Submitted by admin on March 23, 2009 – 1:12 PMNo Comment

Betfair Cash BoxBetfair Cash Box is the latest offering from Stephen Brookes who is very well known for releasing new systems every other week. Most review websites either slate every system he releases which in my opinion is a way of them trying to gain credibility for themselves and many review websites promote all his systems just to earn commissions. I personally treat all of his systems on an individual basis and rate them on there individual merits.

Betfair Cash Box has got peoples interest in a huge way and I have been getting over 100 hits a day from people who have entered the search term ‘Betfair Cash Box’ into Google.

The idea behind the system is to find horses that are then backed on the Betfair place markets. The sales page claims that you are guaranteed to make a profit, don’t they all? and also claims to be 100% mechanical and very simple to operate.

I put the system to the test only a few day’s ago and have found it far from easy to operate and very unprofitable.

I usually test all the systems I review for several month’s before writing my final reviews but for several reasons that you will read shortly I am not going to give this anymore of my time.

The system states they you should not bet on Championship races. What the author constitutes as a championship race is unknown however.

The system also states the following:

“Handicaps, Sellers and even maidens are the best ones to focus on for this system. Sometimes you may get the odd freak result with a maiden due to some horses who have never run before suddenly coming into the race and beating everyone. So if you want to steer clear of any specific type of races which I DO allow, then stay away from maidens. Paper trade them though. You may get yourself into your own winning sequence.”

Do we back in Maidens or not? The first line states that Maidens are one of the best races to focus on yet we are then told we can leave Maiden races alone due to freak results.

Another grey area is race Distances. One of the criteria’s is ensuring the race is EXACTLY the same distance as the horses previous race. This becomes extremely confusing on AW races who use yards as well as furlongs. If the criteria is so tight on the distance then that would mean that horses will only qualify as possible selections when they run at the same track twice in a row as the 5f and yardage is going to be different at the other tracks and the same goes for the jumps. I don’t know about you but I have always thought a 3m chase was just that a 3m chase but if we have to consider every yard then we are going to be very limited with the selections.

The Going is another important factor but again this has not been very well researched in my opinion. A 6f race on Standard going at one AW track is totally different to a 6f race on Standard going at another AW track. The tracks ride completely different and it is a known fact that many horses act on one AW track but not another which completely throws the rule about going out of the window in my opinion.

I contacted the author on several occasions with questions but never received one single reply to my frustration. I have also received loads of emails from other purchasers who were left in the same boat as me with there emails also left unanswered.

As far as selections went it was a total nightmare trying to find them and I have over 20 years experience using systems. I ran my selections past a few other people each day and not once did we all agree.

The final list of selections which we all agreed upon are shown below.

6 winners from 20 selections at short prices is not exactly what the sales page promises is it?. The author has also been sending out the usual promotional emails containing his results to date. He is claiming winning results which are clearly incorrect and omitting losing bets from his results. No surprise there then you might say…

Hopefully I have included enough reasons why this system is doomed to fail long term and why it should be avoided.

By the emails I have received over the last few day’s it is clear for me to see that many of you have already purchased this system. This is a perfect example for me to remind people if you need reminding that it pays to hold back before purchasing any systems or software. Be patient and wait for my reviews to be published.

If you have purchased the system and want a refund then the good news is that it is sold via clickbank who will honour your refund even if the author ignores your requests. Contact me for help if you require it and I will be pleased to help.

Rating 1/5 – Very poor in my opinion. Not reliable enough to use in the long-run and one to avoid.
